How to Maintain a Thermostat on a Gas Engine on 2010 Dodge Caliber?

Before working on the secondary thermostat, try to part drain the cooling system. After that, dismantle the air filter housing by using the steps for removing the air cleaner housing and air cleaner body. With the pressure off, remove the hose connections at the rear of the coolant adapter. Following this, pull the radiator hoses off at the front and rear of the coolant adapter. Following that, use the correct tools to take out the coolant adapter mounting bolts and move the whole coolant adapter and secondary thermostat off the water pump inlet tube.
