How to Maintain a Blower Motor Resistor on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?

Before starting to service the blower motor resistor, let the motor sit for five minutes after use, since it can heat up quite a bit. Take the negative battery cable off the body of the car. First, take out the glove box, as the blower motor resistor is found at the rear of the HVAC housing. Open the glove box and use your hand to take out the wire harness from the blower motor resistor. In the end, remove the two screws joining the blower motor resistor to the housing and remove it.
