Position the blower motor resistor onto the rear of the HVAC housing from the glove box opening. Screw the blower motor resistor into the HVAC housing using two screws tightened to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.). Once removed, set aside the battery negative cable before touching the blower motor resistor. Take the kick cover off the housing that holds your Heater-A/C unit. At this stage, remove the lock from the locking tab on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector, press down on the latch and take the connector off the resistor. Take out the two screws holding the resistor to the heater-A/C housing and then remove the resistor itself. When installing, do the steps in reverse and tighten the mounting screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in lbs.).
