2010 Jeep Wrangler Cruise Control Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair the Cruise Control Switch on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before servicing or repairing the speed control switch, be sure the steering wheel is pointed straight ahead. Break the connection at the negative battery cable to disable your air bag system and prevent accidental triggering; disconnecting the battery cable lets the air bag system capacitor discharge its charge for two minutes. Shut off the engine and take out the air bag, followed by removing the connector from the Clock Spring. Following that, take off the three screws holding the side cover and the horn switch. Either two or three screws have to be taken out from the speed control switch mounting, depending on the model line. Afterwards, unhook the electrical connector and remove the switch.
