How to Install a Drive Shaft on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?

Open all propeller shaft bolts, then clean them and secure the threads with Mopar(R) Lock AND Seal Adhesive or an equivalent. Make the axle and transmission/transfer case area tight enough to fit the propeller shaft into both flanges. Place the marks you made on the transmission/transfer case flange and those on the propeller shaft transmission/transfer end CV joint so they are lined up. Fit the retainer pins for the prop shaft CV joints and tighten the bolts until they are at 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). Then, bring the reference position points of the propeller shaft CV joint and axle flange together, install the corresponding retainers and tighten all bolts again to a torque of 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
