2010 Jeep Wrangler Rocker Arm Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove a Rocker Arm on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Unscrew or pop off the mounting hardware of the cylinder head(s) to get access to the valve rocker arm. Rocker arm shaft bolts must first be captured to the shaft, so begin loosening the rocker shaft bolts by turning each bolt one turn until all the valve spring pressure has escaped. With that step done, you should remove the rocker arms and shaft assembly. For information on how to disassemble the rocker arm, read the instruction manual.
