  • Q: How to Replace a Timing Chain and Its Sprockets on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
    A: To remove and replace timing chain and sprockets disconnect negative cable from battery. Then remove the timing chain cover bolts 1-7 and timing cover. Turn the crankshaft so timing marks are aligned and rotate engine. Next, take off the camshaft sprocket mounting bolt and remove timing chain along with the camshaft sprocket. Last, get rid of the crank sprocket.
