How to Service and Repair a Seat Cushion on Chrysler 300?

Before servicing or repairing the front seat cushion, read all the warnings and cautions. Push the seat all the way forward and remove the battery negative cable from the battery. Untighten the two bolts and one clamp in order to take off the seat cushion. After checking the documentation, if an electrical connector is available, remove it. After that, split each j-strap from the foam and from the seat cushion cover individually.

How to Install a Seat Cushion for the Second Row on Chrysler 300?

The first step is to attach the cushion support using hog rings, if you took it off earlier. Place the cover over the foam and use hog rings on each side to attach the front, outer, rear and final inner side, making sure the seat cover does not wrinkle. Apply this procedure the second time to the opposite side of the cushion, then examine the seat cover again for wrinkles. Attach the J-straps and smooth down the seat cover, giving it a better look by steaming out wrinkles as required. After that, insert the seat cushion (4) into its place, connect the retainer loops on the floor kick-up to the cups on the floor and press downward at the foremost edge of the rear retainer loop to attach it.
