To install the floor console, position it into the vehicle rearward enough to access and reconnect the jumper wire connector to the accessory power outlet on the underside of the console, and if equipped, connect the rear heated seat connector. While holding both sides of the console at the front, carefully engage the ears at the front of the console into the slots at the lower instrument panel, then locate the two alignment holes at the front of the console over the two alignment pins on the instrument panel. Engage the locating pin on the underside of the console rear bin into the slot in the top of the floor panel transmission tunnel, and install and tighten the two screws that secure the front of the console to the instrument panel to 3 Nm (23 in. lbs.). Next, install and tighten the three 8 mm bolts into the rear bin that secure the console to the floor panel transmission tunnel to 5 Nm (40 in. lbs.). Position the console shifter bezel over the gear selector lever, ensuring the tabs on the underside of the console shifter bezel fit into the holes in the floor console, then install and tighten the two screws that secure the front of the console shifter bezel to the console to 3 Nm (23 in. lbs.). Place the mat into the console rear bin with the curved edge oriented forward in the vehicle and position the mat into the cubby bin at the front of the floor console. Firmly push the shifter trim ring down to position it to the gear selector and place the gear selector lever into the Park position. For vehicles equipped with the Automatic Express Up power window feature, calibration is required whenever power to the door module is disrupted, and a battery reconnect procedure must be performed anytime the battery has been disconnected. Finally, reconnect the battery negative cable. To install the center console cover with DVD, install the console cover, secure it with six screws, and replace the side covers.
