You should depressurize the fuel system and make sure the work environment is away from sources of fire before starting. Turn off the engine, bring out the negative
Battery Cable, loosen and remove the bolts that hold the intake manifold plenum to the engine and cover the intake manifold opening with something to keep particles away. Take out the quick connect fitting from the fuel rail at the back of the car. If you can't tell which injector goes to which cylinder by the label, tag them for easy recognition while working. Before lifting, take out the fuel rail mounting bolts at both ends and raise the rail straight up from the cylinder head. Pull out the retaining clips from the
Fuel Injectors and remove the injectors from the fuel rail. When mounting the injectors, apply a bit of lubricating engine oil to the O-rings and put the retainers on. Then insert and snap the clips into place on the fuel injector rail. Set the fuel rail over the cylinder heads and insert it till it is firm, making sure the mounting bolts are clamped at 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.) torque. Bring the quick connect fitting for the fuel supply tube back to the fuel rail and attach the electrical connectors to each fuel injector. After that, fit the intake manifold plenum in place and link the negative cable back to the battery.
