The first step in servicing an Idle Air Control (IAC) Motor is to disconnect the negative
Battery Cable and the air plenum. After that, disconnect the wiring and loosen the IAC mounting screws to take it out. Hook the IAC onto the
Throttle Body and tighten the holding screws with 3 Nm (25 in. lbs.) force. Now, insert the electrical connector into the IAC, fix the air plenum after making sure the clamp is tight and attach the negative battery cable at last.
