    Drain most of the power steering fluid out of the reservoir using a siphon pump as your first step. If you have a frame contact type hoist, raise your truck with that or if it requires jack stands, use those as needed. With the 300M, remove the front grille to find and clean the power steering cooler. Take off the lower hose by taking apart the hose clamp at the cooler and draining whatever fluid is inside the hoses and the cooler. After that, unclamp the upper hose from the cooler. Extract the 6 clips that join the air dam to the radiator lower support, next the 2 nuts that link the cooler to the lower crossmember and later, the cooler. Lock the cooler into position on the crossmember of the radiator's lower left section by adding the 2 holding nuts and tighten them with a torque of 89 inch lbs. Fasten the air dam to the radiator lower support using fresh retaining clips. Insert the hoses for the power steering fluid into the cooler and put the hose clamps beyond the upset bead. The front fascia needs to be installed again on the 300M. Set the front of the vehicle so the tires are just not touching the ground.
