The first step in service and repair is to disconnect the battery and take out the fuel tank. Remove next the rubber hoses for EVAP and the electrical connection from the EVAP canister. Press down the bottom tabs on the canister and move it outward as you lift it from the lower bracket. Simply remove the EVAP canister from the upper mounting tab. To mount, hold the EVAP canister onto the top bracket, swing it onto the bottom bracket and close it by locking it together. Set the hoses into the EVAP canister at its top and connect the electrical link. The final step is to place the fuel tank back and connect the battery's negative cable.
