How to service the right rear Exhaust Resonator on Chrysler 300M?

In order to work on the right rear exhaust resonator on this car, make sure the exhaust system has cooled down. You could get burnt near the catalytic converter, so don't make it too hot. Before work starts, hoist the vehicle up and apply penetrating oil to the nuts on the right rear resonator/pipe. Using your fingers, remove the rubber isolator from the rear support bracket. If necessary, you can use soapy water or silicone-based spray to help. Don't use anything that's petroleum-based or has any petroleum-based ingredients as it will break down the rubber. Next, remove the nuts from the right rear resonator/pipe and the assembly. For installation, position the new right rear resonator/pipe assembly and install the nuts loosely. Reinstall the rubber isolator onto the rear support bracket so that it clears the bracket and nut is tightened to 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.).
