How to Service an Air Injection Pump on Chrysler Crossfire?

Before you begin, first cut the battery cable's negative end and remove the air cleaner housing. Thirdly, take out the air pump switchover tube and the air pump harness connector. Pull the air pump retaining bolt free and then carefully remove the air pump from the retaining bracket. Flip the air pump face down and slide it back into its rears retraining bracket. Secure it with the retaining bolt, making sure the torque is not higher than 20 N.m (177 in. lbs.). After that, reconnect the air pump harness connector and the switchover tube, put the air cleaner housing back on and reconnect the negative battery cable.
