To begin, use a diagnostic scanner to write down any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) that show up. The next thing is to take out the throttle body resonator and complete the fuel system pressure release process. First, pull off the negative battery cable and then connectors on the power brake booster vacuum hose and the vapor canister purge hose should be disconnected from the intake manifold. Take the EGR valve solenoid connector out and also take out the bolts that hold the EGR valve assembly in place. Connect the electrical connector to the EGR valve solenoid as you watch it move and when done, tighten the bolt holding them together a final time to 11 Nm (8.5 ft. lbs.). In the end, connect the windshield Wiper Motor and also the plastic windshield cowl panel.
