How to Remove and Install a Body Control Module on Chrysler Crossfire?

First, disconnect the negative battery cable to remove the body control module. After that, slide the clips forward so you can take off the plastic box housing the controls. When the clip holding the metal body control module is back, pull the module straight up and out of the control module box. Push the windshield wiper electrical connector lock to the right until it unlocks to detach it and after that, lift the metal body control module connector lock up to free and unhook the other connectors. Unplug the body control module from the control module box after removing it. To install, connect every electrical connector to the body control module before locking the connector down with the metal body control module connector lock. After that, plug in the windshield wiper electrical connector and pull the grey windshield wiper connector lock to the left to secure it. Connect the metal clip on the body control module to the control module box as you insert it. Attach the lid for the plastic control module and move the clips toward the back to keep it secure, then plug back in the negative battery cable. When the Bcm is installed, either download information from the Drb Iii(R) or manually add information from TechTOOLS or Star Hotline to set up the new Bcm's programming.
