When the ignition lock cylinder needs service, put grease into the lock cylinder if it is notching or jamming; replace it if the trouble continues. Press the escutcheon through the hole using a suitable tool first. Put a plastic wedge behind the lock and lift the transponder coil off it. After that, fit the sleeve around the cap and move the lock cylinder to position "1" using the key. Start by turning the cap on the lock cylinder counter-clockwise through 90° and remove it after that. Before putting the lock cylinder into the cap, spray grease on the outside of it. Slide the key into the cap and keep going until it meets the stop in the lock cylinder. Screw the cap in using your hands until it locks and finally turn the key to the first "0".
