The first step in servicing the Junction Block and Body Control Module is to make sure it's safe by disconnecting the battery negative remote cable from the left shock tower angle. Start by opening up the front driver's door to take out the end cap, then remove the center bezel, the instrument cluster hood and the silencer. After that, disconnect the wire harness connectors from the Junction Block and remove the three screws securing it. First, unplug the wires from the BCM connector and after that, remove the vehicle's Junction Block/BCM assembly. When you're done cutting, loosen the attaching screws and remove the BCM from the Junction Block. Attach the BCM to the Junction Block first, then secure both by tightening the screws, before you reinstall the whole unit in the vehicle. Attach the wire connectors from the BCM back to their sockets, slide the mounting screws into the Junction Block and reconnect the wire harness plugs. After all that, put the silencer, instrument cluster hood, center bezel and end cap back on, then reattach the negative cable to the battery.
