Any fault or damage inside the PDC or within the PDC housing causes the whole PDC and engine compartment wire harness to need replacement. You should begin by taking off the battery negative remote cable and then disconnect every wire harness found in the engine compartment. Release every fastener holding each ground eyelet to the vehicle body or chassis in the engine compartment wire harness and unclick every retainer joining it to the car body or frame. Remove a PDC mounting screw, push in the tabs on the locking tabs and free the PDC base from the PDC mounting screws, then pull the PDC and engine compartment wire harness out of the engine compartment together. Be sure to move over the fuses, fuse cartridges, fusible links and relays into the new PDC after transferring your PC. Place the PDC over the PDC mounting bracket in the engine compartment, make certain the holes on the PDC are aligned with the blades of the bracket and press the PDC housing down until it snaps and becomes firm.
