You can find the idle air control motor placed next to the throttle body on one side. Begin by taking off the throttle body and next unhook the electrical connectors from both the air control motor and
Throttle Position Sensor. Now, unscrew the bolts for the idle air control motor and take it out, making certain the O-ring leaves with it. The new idle air control motor includes a new O-ring for installation. If your pintle is bigger than one inch (25 mm), use the DRB AIS Motor Open/Close Test with the battery connected to retract it. Gently install the idle air control motor in the throttle body, add the mounting screws and tighten each screw to 6.2 Nm (55 in. lbs.). Make sure to insert and join the electrical wires of the idle air control motor and throttle position sensor to the throttle body again so that it can be fully working.
