To access the turn signal switch, first open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal remote terminal from the remote battery post. After this, the tilt lever should be removed along with upper and lower steering column covering. Remove the mounting screws and other connectors to get the multi-function switch out. For installation, connect the multi-function switch connectors and install the mounting screws, tightening the retaining screws to 17 in.-lb. pound (2 N.m) turning force. Next, install the upper and lower shrouds on the steering column and the tilt lever. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery to the remote battery post finally.
