When servicing and repairing the distributor, begin by locking the blank C, removing the screw and holding it with the blank C so it doesn't break. Second, in order to take out the plate unit, first unscrew the terminal and then the ignition coil presser plate. Push out the two connectors evenly by first holding the housing and unit with the ignition coil set and then pulling them out together. After that, undo the screws holding the plate between the ignition coil set and the unit, then shift the unit to slide it off the jackbox. When reassembling, place the unit against the ignition coil set from the side and ensure that your connector is not pressed in so that you do not get insufficient or poor contact. Make sure the plate is in the right position by mating it with the housing, as wrong orientation will stop the plate from mounting the ignition coils properly. Lay the interposed plate where it should be, then push the combination of the housing and accelerator unit with the ignition coil evenly into the spot where the two connectors join. Following this, screw the plate and its connecting terminal in place. Rotor fur of the rotor terminal must be placed opposite the thin area you cut from the blank's C spline during installation.
