The lock motor should be placed on the latch/lock and held in position with the retained screws before installation is complete. Then, mount the latch/lock control and cover as per the instructions next to it. After that, fit the sound pad and trim panel to the sliding door.

How to Service a Door Lock Actuator on Chrysler Crossfire?

Before anything else, take out the right rear interior quarter trim panel with a screwdriver and open what you find inside. Carefully take out the pneumatic supply line (2) from the fuel door lock actuator so you don't damage the connector. Pull the handle of the lock actuator completely to free the pin that holds the lock. Following that, press the locking tab on the fuel door lock actuator and turn the fuel door latch (1) 90° to remove the actuator from the car. Start installation by inserting the fuel door lock actuator through the door panel and slotting it into the hole. Set the fuel door latch into the hole and move it 90° clockwise and then press the handle (1) down to slide it into place. Place the fuel door lock actuator into the latch and press down until you can feel the tab lock. Lastly, connect the pneumatic supply line (2) to the fuel door lock actuator and attach the access panel in the end.
