After that, place the hood panel (2) on the upper hinge point on the car and install and tighten the two screws (2) that fasten the hinge to the hood, to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). If necessary, install the gas support cylinder's upper end onto the upper hinge bracket. When that stage is done, take out the support that helped hold the hood up, close the hood and adjust its hinge place if needed to maintain the proper spacing and work.
