How to Replace a Blend Door Actuator on Chrysler LHS?

First, cut power to the air bag system by isolating and disconnecting the large black air bag cable opposite the battery and then wait a little over two minutes before working on the blend door actuator. Lift the hood and remove the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. Remove both left and right underpanel silencers/ducts and then remove the two right-sided screws in the actuator and the single left side screw. Activate the actuator as usual, move it straight down and then unplug the cable, while making note of where the shaft came to rest as it locks. When attaching, insert the wire harness connector into the new blend door actuator, line up the keyed shaft and carefully put the actuator onto the HVAC housing. Fit the side cover with three screws fastened to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.), attach the underpanel silencer/duct on both sides and hook up the negative battery cable remote terminal to the remote battery post.
