How to Service and Repair a Brake Light Switch on Chrysler LHS?

Before working on or repairing a brake light switch, depress and hold the brake pedal. Turn the brake switch counterclockwise approximately 30 degrees from its correct owned place and pull it back to free it from the bracket. First, unhook the wiring harness connector connecting to the switch. Be sure the plunger moves all the way back by holding the switch and pulling it away from you until the switch ratchets.
