  How to remove and install the rear bumper cover on Chrysler LHS?

  A:

  To remove the rear fascia, first release the deck lid latch and open the deck lid, then partially remove the trunk carpet to access the fascia attaching nuts and remove them. For the 300M, remove both tail lamp housings to access the fascia attaching fasteners and remove those fasteners. Next, remove the fasteners attaching the fascia to the rear quarter and splash shield, followed by the upper push pins attaching the fascia to the body. Pull the fascia with a 30-pound force to disengage the plastic clip and grommet that attaches the fascia to the quarter panel vertical flange, one side at a time. Disengage the main wire connector from the body harness located on the left side of the vehicle and remove the fascia from the vehicle. For installation, connect the main wire connector to the body harness connector, place the rear fascia in position on the bumper reinforcement, align the two fascia studs to the quarter panel vertical attachment while also aligning the fascia keyhole slot on the horizontal flange with the drive pin, and push the fascia forward to engage the fasteners. Install the push pins attaching the top of the fascia to the body, then for the 300M, install the nut on the fascia stud and reinstall the tail lamp and fasteners under the tail lamp. Finally, reinstall the trunk carpet and the fasteners attaching the fascia to the rear quarter panel and splash shields. For the Intrepid, open the deck lid and remove the fasteners attaching the fascia to the rear quarter and splash shields, as well as those attaching the fascia to the lower trunk panel. Pull the sides of the fascia outwards to disengage the snaps to the quarter panel attaching bracket, then pull the fascia rearward to expose the license plate lamp wire connector and disconnect it, located on the left side of the vehicle. For installation, connect the license plate lamp wire connector to the body harness, place the rear fascia in position on the vehicle by fitting foam to the bumper beam, install the center fastener to the lower trunk panel, snap the sides of the fascia between the quarter panel and bracket, and install the fasteners attaching the fascia to the rear quarter panel and splash shields, finishing with the remaining fasteners to the lower trunk panel.

  How to remove and install the front Bumper Cover on Chrysler LHS?

  To remove the front bumper cover, first release the hood latch and open the hood. Remove the large rubber grommet (70 mm x 168 mm) from the splash shield to access the fascia fasteners, then take out the fasteners attaching the fascia to the front fender and splash shield. Next, remove the nuts on the fascia studs through the splash shield access holes on each side, followed by the fasteners connecting the fascia to the lower crossmember and the upper radiator closure panel. If equipped, disconnect the wire connectors for the fog lamps, parking/turn signal, and side marker before removing the fascia from the vehicle. For the Intrepid model, after opening the hood, remove the push pin fasteners attaching the bottom of the fascia (air dam) to the lower crossmember and the fasteners connecting the fascia to the splash shields. Remove the push pin fasteners attaching the fascia to the upper radiator closure panel, pull the sides of the fascia outwards to disengage it from the drive pins, and then pull the fascia forward. Disconnect the fog lamp wire connectors if equipped and remove the fascia from the vehicle. For installation, connect the wire connectors and position the fascia on the vehicle, ensuring the foam fits to the bumper reinforcement while taking care not to scratch the fender, possibly using tape for protection. Install the top center fasteners to the upper radiator closure panel, align the fascia to the bumper reinforcement, and ensure the two fascia studs align with the fender vertical attachments while also aligning the fascia groove on the horizontal flange with the fender fasteners. Push the fascia rearward to engage the fasteners, install the nuts on the fascia studs through the splash shield access holes on each side, and then install the fasteners attaching the fascia to the front fender and splash shield before installing the grommet and the fasteners connecting the fascia to the lower crossmember. For the Intrepid model, connect the fog lamp wire connectors if equipped, position the fascia by fitting foam to the bumper beam, snap the sides of the fascia over the drive pin fasteners on the fenders, and install the fasteners to the upper radiator closure, splash shields, and the bottom of the fascia to the lower crossmember.
