Chrysler LHS Fuel Filler Neck Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace the Fuel Filler Neck Vent Hose on Chrysler LHS?
    A:
Before you remove the Fuel Filler Vent Hose, let go of the fuel system pressure and remove the negative cable from the battery. Empty the fuel tank, then lift and hold the vehicle on a hoist before you can replace the tank. Take the vent hose out from under the fuel cap and from the top of the tank. For installation, attach the new vent hose and fasten the clamp and after that, secure the fuel tank again. Lock the fuel filler hose to the neck and secure the clamp with its screw. Keep the vehicle low, fuel all the tanks and make sure there are no leaks prior to completing the above task and reattaching the negative cable to the battery.
