Before starting any work on the fuel filler neck, let go of the fuel pressure and cut the negative
Battery Cable. Raise the vehicle, support it properly and then take off the left rear tire and the left rear splash shield. Then, remove 3 screws holding the filler neck to the quarter panel and take the vent line off the filler tube. Disconnect the rubber hose from the fuel filler tube on the
Fuel Tank and then take out the filler tube. First, put the filler tube in its right place, next attach it to the quarter panel with the screws and finally link the vent line to the filler tube. Attach the fuel filler tube to the rubber line on the fuel tank, push the end of the ground wire into the body and fix the screws on the left rear splash shield and tire. When done, drive the car up on the ramps, reduce its height and attach the negative battery cable.
