    How to Maintain and Fix a Interior Door Handle on Chrysler Prowler?

    Disassemble the inner door handle bezel and the door trim panel to service and repair the inside door release handle. Remove the clips that tether the latch release link and lock link to the door latch, followed by removing the screw that ties the door release handle to the inside door panel. Detach the screws that hold the release handle bracket to inner door panel inner and remove the rods from their anti-rattle clips attached to the inner panel. To remove the release handle from the bracket and link rods, pull the release handle and rods away from the door panel and then remove the door release handle from the vehicle. For installation, pull the rear edge of the release handle bracket away from the door panel to engage the grooves of the handle into the bracket with the door release handle positioned to the door. Link rods should engage and be inserted with the handle into the door. The clips that engage latch release link to the door latch and lock link to the door latch should engage. Fit the screws that fix the release handle to the inner door panel and secure the screws that fix the release handle bracket to the inner door panel. Position the rods in the anti-rattle clips located on the inner panel, reinstate the door trim panel and the inner door handle bezel.
