Removal of the air cleaner lid, the makeup air hose, plus disconnecting the negotiable
Battery Cable allows for servicing the cruise control servo. Now, remove the two bolts that hold the speed control cable and bracket to the servo and pull the servo off the bracket. Remove the covers for the electrical and vacuum hoses and take off the engine cover. Unclip the cable from the throttle cam and throw out the two push nuts that were holding it. Also, delete the connector that fastens the cable to the servo. First place the hairpin clip and cable onto the servo, then attach the servo studs through both the cable bell and the bracket. Screw in the nuts until the torque reaches 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Link the speed control cable back to the throttle cam, attach the electrical connector and connect the vacuum hose to the servo. After that, attach the engine cover, reattach the negative battery cable and set the air cleaner lid and makeup air hose in place.
