Before installing the fuel rail, attach the
Fuel Injectors, then apply a little clean engine oil to their O-ring and put them in the cups of the rail. Hold every injector in place with a clip until you're certain, then insert the injector nozzles into the open
Intake Manifold and secure them. Put in the remaining 2 bolts on the fuel rail and tighten them with 22.5 Nm (16.5 ft. lbs.) torque. After that, plug the fuel rail wiring harness into the rail and secure the connectors of the fuel injectors. Attach the fuel line to the fuel rail, put the assembly into its original place and use two bolts to secure the thermostat housing, with a torque of 12.5 Nm (110 in. lbs.). Move the clamp for the upper radiator hose back to where it should be and attach the 2 small pipes to the thermostat housing. Fill the coolant system first, then fit the intake manifold and use 2 bolts in the rear at 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.) and 5 bolts in the front at the same tightness. Connect the vacuum lines at the back of the intake manifold, slot the
MAP Sensor connector into place and install the cables to the throttle body bracket. Connect the throttle and speed control cables to the throttle body, then put the shield for the throttle assembly in place. Secure the wires at the electrical connection on the throttle body, add the purge hose and put in the throttle body inlet hose, but tighten them only to 3 Nm ±1 (25 in. lbs. ±5) torque. In the end, join the negative
Battery Cable and use the San Tool ASD Fuel System Test to apply pressure to the fuel system, looking for signs of leaks.
