The wiper motor linkage is installed by applying Mopart(R) approved grease to the ball stud and snapping the wiper linkage on the motor crank arm. First of all, the wiper module is installed, then the cowl screen is installed, and finally, the wiper arms are installed.

How to Service and Repair the Wiper Linkage on Chrysler Sebring?

First disconnect and isolate the battery negative remote cable to service and repair the wiper motor linkage. Remove the wiper arms and blades and cowl screen(next). Next, remove the three wiper motor assembly mounting screws (1); disconnect the wire connector at the motor, and remove the assembly.
