Chrysler Sebring Hazard Warning Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service a Hazard Warning Switch on Chrysler Sebring?
    A:
Before anything else, detach and isolate the remote cable linking the battery negative. After that, take off the upper covering of the steering column. After that, unwind the screws holding the multifunction switch and pull out the wires, raising the switch until it comes off. To install the switch, put it on the steering column and retrofit the retaining screws, tightening them until the force is 2.3 Nm or 20 in. lbs. When that's done, set all the steering shrouds and screws back in place, then tighten the cover retaining screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) torque. After that, link the black Battery Cable back to the vehicle.
