Before replacing or fixing the air filter, unsnap both the clips and lift the cover to pull the remaining tabs from the air box toward the engine. Then, take out the filter after lifting the cover. Put the air filter inside the air box, taking care that the cover's tabs slot into the main box. Now, close the cover, put the 2 clips in place and snap them to hold it in place.
