How to Service and Repair the Air Intake Hose for the Supplemental Cabin Heater on Chrysler Town & Country?

To service and repair the air intake pipe for the supplemental cabin heater, first, drain the engine cooling system. Remove the clips on the cabin heater tubes at the lower heater port and the lower EGR connector located in the engine compartment. Remove the retaining clip at the cabin heater air intake muffler connection. Next, disconnect the clamp connecting the flexible reading tube to the steel tube and then remove the two retaining screws to remove the cabin heater air intake and heater pipe assembly. Begin the installation by installing the air intake pipe assembly and securing it using the two retaining screws tightened to 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.). Connect the steel tube with the flexible tube, position it properly and tighten the retaining clamp. Attach the flexible tube to the inlet muffler of the cabin heater and install and tighten the clamp. Reconnecting the cabin heater tubes to the lower heater connection and lower EGR cooler connection and tightening the retaining clamps. Put the vehicle on the ramps, top up the engine cooling system, and check the cabin heater.
