How to remove the rear Bumper Cover on Chrysler Town & Country?

To remove the rear bumper fascia, first open the liftgate and remove the two attaching screws from the upper fascia to the liftgate tower on both the right and left sides. Next, raise and support the vehicle, then remove the three screws on each side that attach the rear fascia to the wheel openings on both sides. After that, remove the four plastic push pins that secure the bottom of the rear fascia to the fascia support. Lift the sides of the rear fascia up and outboard to release it from the rear fascia brackets, and disconnect the rear park assist wire connector if equipped. If necessary, remove the park assist sensors.

How to install a rear Bumper Cover on Chrysler Town & Country?

To install rear bumper cover, first install the park assist sensor if equipped with it. If equipped, attach the rear park assist wire connector. Place the rear fascia on the vehicle, ensuring the fascia's front edge is under the liftgate tower. Tighten the right and left liftgate tower screws to the fascia to 5.5 Nm (49 in.lbs.). Check the fascia which must be engaged under the liftgate and there must be a suitable gap between the liftgate and fascia. Then, install and tighten three screws to 5.5 Nm (49 in.lbs.) to attach the rear fascia to each wheel opening. Lastly, use four plastic push pins to attach the bottom of the rear fascia to the fascia support and lower the vehicle.
