How to Service and Repair the Rear Door Striker on Chrysler Town & Country?

Start by opening the sliding door and marking the outline of the striker on the C pillar door jamb face for installation guidance to be able to service and repair the rear latch striker. Then undo the screws retaining the striker to the C pillar and then remove striker. For installation, place the new striker on the car and it to the proven vacuum lines for the region, bring it up to the outline marks on the C pillar. Install the screws and secure the striker. Tighten the screws to 28 N.m (21 ft.lbs) torque. Finally align and test the operation of the sliding door.
