How to service and repair the Front Door Striker on Chrysler Voyager?

Mark the outline of the door striker on the B-pillar for easier servicing and repair of the door striker, as it helps in fixing it back. Take out the screws connecting the door latch striker to the B-pillar. Then, take out the door latch striker from the vehicle. Remove the shims between the latch striker and the B-pillar. To install the latch striker, place it and any captured shims on the vehicle and then install screws loosely attaching the latch striker to the B-pillar. Position the latch striker such that it lines up with the markings on the B-pillar and tighten to 28 N.m (21 ft.lbs.) torque. In the end, check the fit and operation of the door and adjust the latch striker.
