When removing the left multi-function switch, first cut the negative
Battery Cable, let the system reserve capacitor discharge for two minutes and then begin work on the
Air Bag or steering column. Pull off the tops and bottoms of the shrouds covering the steering column. Following this, take out the screw that holds the left multi-function switch on your side of the
Clock Spring. Pull the switch completely away to the back of the Clock Spring so that you can unlatch and take out the electrical connector. Unhook the back of the multi-function left switch from the wiring and take out the switch from the Clock Spring.
