Then, attach the instrument panel wiring harness connector on to the back of the left multi-function switch. Slide the switch so that it's on top of the Clock Spring, then add the screw to secure it to the Clock Spring. After those steps, attach the upper and lower shrouds to the steering column and attach the battery negative cable.

Release switch (2) quickly, pulling it clear of Clock Spring (1), so that you can remove the wires connected to the electrical connector (3). After that, cut apart the instrument panel wiring harness at the multi-function switch and take out the switch (2) from the Clock Spring (1).
