Make sure to lift and support the vehicle at the front before you remove the cross-member. After that, remove the four wheel well screws. If necessary, remove the three side screws up front, three rear screws and the push pin fastener from the middle of the belly pan. Take out the rear roll mount through bolt and the three bolts on its crossmember, then pull out the for/aft crossmember. Then, take out both front wheels from the vehicle. Once that's done, take away the lower ball joint pinch bolts, the bolt guiding the pressure line behind the steering arm and the bolt that joins the return line to the crossmember. Take out the sway bar bushing bolts and be sure to support the sway bar in the car and complete the same process with the steering gear mounting bolts. Apply grease pencil marks to the ends of the crossmember to align it with your vehicle's body, install a support to suspend the crossmember and remove the bolts to take out the crossmember. After that, take out the lower control arm front pivot bolts and the lower control arm rear pivot bolts to get the lower control arms away from the crossmember.
