The Dodge Caliber Heater Core is the vital part of the climatic regulation system of Dodge Caliber vehicles that is characterized by high quality and efficiency. This Heater Core works like a radiator in that it circulates and disperses additional motor heat into the vehicle to improve comfort and safety. Usually made from aluminum or brass, the Dodge Caliber Heater Core has fins to maximize the amount of heat transfer area. It supports Caliber models of Dodge in the range of 2007-2012, thus making sure all the models will be able to get the optimum heating from the unit. Due to its relatively complex design and construction the Heater Core also has the function of dehumidifying air if the vehicle is equipped with any kind of air conditioning. The more progressive solutions may contain climate control valves and electromechanical actuators, thus enabling the stability of temperature. However, typical problems can occur such as clogging and leaking but these are common and should not pose any serious problem if the Dodge Caliber Heater Core is ordered and installed for use in your car. Cam belt is recognized as being extremely reliable, and in the automotive market, its function goes beyond improving the driving experience but also increases the safety of the car. Thus, the essential and highly practical part of the Dodge Caliber Heater Core remains a great demand among car enthusiasts, as it provides durability and efficient performance and a solid degree of new features to make the ride as comfortable as possible regardless of the climate conditions.

Dodge Caliber Heater Core Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How is the Heater Core Installed on Dodge Caliber?
    A:
Positively place the heater core (6) into the left area of the air distribution housing (5) while performing the installation. On the RHD version, fit the air distribution housing (5) onto the HVAC housing (9). Fixed the heater core tubes (8) by mounting the retaining bracket (4) and screw (3) and tightening the screw to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.). Following this, fit the front flange (2) to hold the heater core tubes onto the HVAC housing and put in the screw (10), then tighten it to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.). If the flange's foam seal has been affected, it has to be changed. Set the foam seal (1) over the flange and then insert and secure the left side front floor duct. After the heater core is replaced, be sure to flush the cooling system first before you install the HVAC accessories.
