How to Remove a Door Hinge on Dodge Charger?

You should take the front door off before removing the hinge. Mark the position for the upper or lower hinge bracket on the exterior of the lower A-pillar to be used later. Afterward, remove the hooks that hold the hinge bracket to the car by taking out the screws and taking off the bracket. After that, make a mark on the hinge face of the front door to help you properly put the hinge back during reinstallation. Take out the screw on the door that holds the hinge there, followed by the nut on the door post that holds the hinge in place. After that, unscrew the upper or lower hinge from the face of the door hinge.

How to Install a Door Hinge on the Rear Door on Dodge Charger?

For rear door installation, align the upper or lower hinge with the hinge face of the rear door. Attach a ratchet and tighten the hinge screw on the wall stud to the hinge on the door at 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). After that, install and tighten the screw that holds the hinge to the door, also to 21 ft. lbs. using a torque wrench. Fix one of the hinge brackets to the outside of the lower B-pillar using the wall plugs given with the kit. Install the two screws through the hinge bracket onto the outside of the lower B-pillar and tighten them to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) It is now important to reinstall the rear door onto the car.
