How to Service and Repair the Fuel Level Sensor on the Left Side Module on Dodge Charger?

Before starting any service on the fuel level sensor on the left side module, let out the fuel pressure. Remove the negative battery cable from its connector. Pump out enough fuel so that the fuel level is fewer than 5/8 of a tank to keep the module lock-rings from spilling during removal. Place a hard nylon tube with a 30° cut on the end in the tank to drain the fuel partway and open the check valve. Push the cover for the front bottom seat back and pull up to take out the lower front seat cushion. Flip over the foam cover above the module access and take the electrical connector off the left module. Mark the orientation point and use tool #9340 to get rid of the left side module lock ring. Raise the bottom of the module enough to tilt the hose so it sits in the tank's left side. Break the electrical link at the bottom of the module to the left side fuel level sensor, as well as at the bottom to the right side. Open the upper part of your module, tip the lower half to one side and let any remaining fuel drain out. Take the wire out of the module and use a screwdriver to break the locking tabs on the level sensor card. Pull the level sensor card straight out and up from the module, cut the electrical wiring and remove the card.
