Before you begin with the fuel rail for the 3.7L engine, first see if the
Fuel Injectors are installed. Make sure to clean the fuel injector bores inside the
Intake Manifold and apply just a little engine oil on each fuel injector o-ring to make installation go smoothly. Place the fuel rail/fuel injector assembly over the machined openings, so each injector lines up correctly inside the cylinder head, taking care not to pull the o-rings too hard. Pres the right side of the fuel rail down until you feel the fuel injectors touch the top edge of the cylinder head, then do the same on the left side. Set the four bolts that hold the fuel rail in place and tighten them up to the specifications in the manual. After that, fit the six
Ignition Coils and plug in the electrical connectors to the
Throttle Body and every fuel injector to make sure each connector is secure and will not come loose. Connect each vacuum line to the throttle body, mount the air resonator bracket with two bolts on the front side of the throttle body and secure the fuel line latch to the fuel rail and the fuel line to it. I shall start by mounting the airbox over the throttle body and then the
Air Duct over the air box. When it's done, attach the
Battery Cable to the battery, start the engine and confirm there are no leaks.
