Step one is to setup the intake manifold seals, followed by positioning the intake manifold inside. Attach the air intake manifold with retaining bolts, adjusting them in the described order to a torque of 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.) The
Throttle Body must be correctly torqued; otherwise, it can be damaged and lead to problems with the throttle plate. Put the O-ring onto the throttle body and fasten it to the intake manifold by using four mounting bolts that you should tighten to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Next, install the connector for the electrical throttle body and after that, fix the
Fuel Rail and the EGR tube. Start installing the ignition coil towers and plug the
MAP Sensor's and CTS Sensor's electrical connectors to the CKPs. After sliding the top oil dipstick tube onto the valve, screw on the retaining bolt. Attach the Vapor purge hose, Brake booster hose and Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose. Put the coolant into the cooling system, install the resonator assembly and air inlet hose and attach the negative battery cable again. Perform ETC Relearn using the scan tool.
