To put in the camshaft bearing, slide the shell over the matching adapter, use the Camshaft Bearing Remover/Installer Tool C-3132-A to put the rear bearing in place and install the horseshoe lock. Reverse the procedure used earlier to place each bearing shell exactly into position. Make sure the oil holes are aligned with the holes in the main bearing. Should the oil holes not match exactly, take them out and reinstall them correctly. After that, put a new core hole plug in the back of the camshaft so that it does not leak.
