Remove the negative cable from the battery to begin on the front engine mount service. If your engine has a viscous fan, remove it ahead of engine lifting to stop damage to the
Fan Blade,
Fan Clutch and the fan shroud. If your car is 2WD, detach the cooling fan, the engine
Oil Filter and oil drain trough and then add the Engine Support 8534. Subsequently, take away the through bolts, lift the engine up enough to see both the engine mounts, then take out the bolts attaching the engine mounts and remove them. When working on a 4WD, also take care of the initial steps-disconnect the battery and remove the cooling fan. The next step is to take out the skid plate, front crossmember, oil filter and the drain trough for engine oil. Lift the front axle by inserting a suitable jack, secure Engine Support 8534 beneath it and undo the bolts that connect the engine supports and the front axle to the left engine bracket. Remove the front axle, unscrew the through bolts and-if there's a fan-remove that fan before lifting the engine. This will allow you to work on the left and right engine mounts and take out their screws.
