Remove the nuts, U-bolts and spring plate from each side of the axle, then the nuts and bolts holding the spring on both the front and the rear. Also, take off the shackle from the frame bracket. You should begin installation by fitting the shackle onto the frame bracket and securing it with the nut and bolt so that it is just tight. Set the spring so the center bolt of the spring slides smoothly into the pad's whole. Make sure the front spring eye sits on the bolt hole in the frame bracket, then bolt and nut it into place by hand.
